Chocolate carrot porridge

I am fully aware this recipe sounds odd and maybe even a little disgusting but it is one of my favourites! I love it!

You can't really taste the carrot, as long as you grate it finely - the carrot is there to bulk out the oats, giving you a bigger portion of porridge (plus carrot is speed!).

Ingredients 

35g porridge oats (healthy b)
1 finely grated carrot
1 options hot chocolate sachet (2 syns)
boiling water

Method

Mix all ingredients together and top with boiling water to just above mixture level. Pop in the microwave for 1-2 minutes and serve. You can make this with milk if you wish, but I personally prefer to save my healthy extra a and use boiling water. It tastes just as nice and fills me up until lunch.

I serve with strawberries and banana on top - lush!
