Homemade free houmous

I've just got back from spinning, its a lovely sunny day and I fancy a snack! Didn't fancy using my syns, so I made some refreshing summery houmous and it was lovely!


Ingredients

1 tin of chick peas
1 fresh lemon juiced
2 crushed garlic cloves
2 heaped table spoons of quark
1 table spoon of cumin
black pepper
chilli flakes

Method

I drained the chick peas and rinsed well, then literally put all the ingredients into a food processor and blended until smooth(ish). Sprinkled with chilli flakes to finish. 

I like mine with carrots and cucumber, but whatever tickles your fancy! Its great if doing SP as chick peas and quark are protein! 

I shall be snacking freely on this for the next few days!
