Carrot, cinnamon & raisin porridge

Carrots for breakfast? Yes please!

If I am honest, I turned my nose up at this recipe but its so delicious! You have to try it!

Ingredients

35g porridge oats (healthy b)
1 finely grated carrot
1 table spoon of cinnamon
2 table spoon of sweetener
1 small snack box of raisins (usually between 2 & 3 syns depending on brand)
boiling water

Method

Mix all ingredients together and top with boiling water to just above mixture level. Pop in the microwave for 1-2 minutes and serve. You can make this with milk if you wish, but I personally prefer to save my healthy extra a and use boiling water. It tastes just as nice and fills me up until lunch.

I've also made this without raisins and cinnamon and added cocoa powder instead for 2 syns per tablespoon. Equally as delicious and the added speed from the carrot bulks out your portion.
